As above really. UK 6 speed on a classic. 4th has always been a bit notchy.

Its now so bad I just bypass 4th gear completely.

So I would like to know what the problem could be.

It still has drive in fourth but even if i hold the gear in place it kicks back out of gear. Like I say I bypass 4th completely and have been doing so for quite sometime.

Any help from you gearbox gurus will be greatly appreciated.
