Default Polishing turbo compressor cover?

If I want to polish the inside of the compressor cover, what would be involved in first removing the cover from an IHI unit (VF something or other) and then deciding on which parts to polish and which not.

Do I polish to mirror or just a smooth finish?

Does anyone have any pics?

Cheers,

Wayne.

It's already pretty smooth where the comprssor wheel fits, main benefit comes from porting/radiusing the inlet and outlet to remove any large steps.

What it like to remove the cover? Does it just bolt on/off and use the original seal?

VFs are bolt on covers, is TDs that have the circlip.

So does this mean that I can reuse the original seal?
