turbo ?

Question turbo ?

just read thread ... turbo bearings gone... ... so the ? is is a whistling turbo a sign of impending doom & boom or is it quite normal to hear a slight whistle on boost... which is normal

I hope not i put a TD05 in a couple months ago and i can hear it. Thought it was normal.

I've always heard a whistle when on full boot of most cars Delta/Integrale/Classic/GT4.

Especially if tuned.

always heard on new and used turbos louder on some cars

4 out of 4... seems this is the norm then... car only has one sports cat.. so maybee this is why louder then...

my saabs always seamed to whistle louder just b4 going pop...
