Angry Extending Subaru Warranty, They won't let me!!!!!

Got a letter yesterday from Subaru UK and I thought it was my yearly warranty renewal, well did I get a shock, as my Scoob is over 6 years old I cannot no longer have a Subaru UK warranty extention, I am so bloody angry for 5 years they took my money and now because they have changed their warranty policies, anyone with a Scoob over 6 years old cannot renew their warranty, so what was the point of paying all that money to have it serviced at a dealership
Cheers
Colin

Check out the AA website mate...

www.theaa.com

You will find an option on there called parts and labour cover... It's £50 a year and covers parts and labour up to £700 for upto 5 times a year I think it is...

not a bad price to pay for reassurance..

You can also specify where you want the work to be carried out..

Covers upto £500 3 times a year for £58 but that still sounds pretty good. I presume this only means it covers you if you break down on the road though. If during a service the garage tells you it needs about £500 spent on it to fix various problems ill bet AA wouldn't cover that i.e it would only probably cover the items that were the direct cause of a breakdown if it occured. IMO.

If im wrong ill be taking out the cover myself.

Steve.
