BLOW OFF/DUMP valves? are they worth it??
Hi all
i have just fitted an XS Power BOV to my MY02 STi UK. Nice wooooosh from it on changing gear etc, and I know that you dont get any extra horsepower but my main concern is the fact that I may be damaging my turbo/engine
Is this true?? any help/advice would be appreciated.

If anything it will help your turbo (compared to not having any form of BOV)
Usually causes slight overfuelling on lift off, some people say this will harm your engine... some say it wont. Personally i say it doesnt allow enough over fuellimg to cuase any bore wash probs etc.
Rob
p.s. beware of the anti BOV crew
