how hard or easy is it to remove an engine from a my03 sti any advise or tips would be helpfull

remove an engine from an 03???? doubt many ppl know that question.... classics were very easy tho and im sure these are the same...

 

What sort of tips are you after?

Unbolting?
Lifting points?

How spanner friendly are you...?

pretty much everything to be honest with u im rubbish with spanners but my mates r quite good

 

Search will help loads..

Basically though...

downpipe off
radiator out
intercooler off
aircon and power steering disconnected
engine mounts
top engine support
Bell housing bolts
Starter motor
clutch fork bung and pull pivot rod out
air filter assembly
engine looms
heater matrix pipes
fuel lines

rite ok air filter gone , down pipe is off , intercooler off , rad out an power steering disconected
where are the engine mounts and other stuff do u have any pics rob

engine mounts are underneath (2 nuts)
Gearbox bolts are around the gearbox to engine face (6 bolts, 2 nuts and studs)
