W6 ecu and scott taylor chip will it work

Default W6 ecu and scott taylor chip will it work

Hi, i have 93 wrx ra import fitted with a w6 ecu is this the standard/correct one?

I also have a scott tayor chip and holder ready to fit will this be ok to use in this ecu the part number on the chip is: imp-ecu-s2-v18 (kc)275c

Any advise, help or links please.

W6 is not an RA ECU it's a 93/94 WRC EXU.
W9 is the correct WRX RA ECU for that year.
But TBH it makes sod-all difference, especially with the chip.

I stand corrected. I think that the early WRXs and RAs had the same power, so thought that they had the same ECUs. The RAs I thought were just reduced in weight.

Yes it a lot lighter, alloy bonnet and boot no lecy windows or CL and air con was an extra. Wonder what happened to my w9?
