How do u classify an import...
Basically, are EU imported 215bhp cars insured as uk turbos? or do u insure them as imports (wrx) im after a uk turbo but will i end up paying wrx money if i get an import???
I think you have to declare that the car is an import. But its NOT a jap import, so you will not be paying WRX money.
You will have to stress that it is basically the same spec as a UK turbo. I think there are some differences, one of them being the alarm. UK turbos got a CAT 1 Thatcham approved alarm as standard.
Call around, you should find an insurer that will not charge you much difference compared to the UK car.
