RB5 WR Sport with full DC-Boost Questions
Hi
I've owned a P1 a while back and a early Wrx both with 290Bhp, then I went Vw then I bought a Rb5 Wr, well what a difference
So I fitted a ITG panel filter, Magnex centre and twin dump down pump and a boost gauge to keep and eye on the boost, which seems to hold a bar on WOT-Since these mods the car feels better. I've bought a manual boost controller from AS Perf and a Knocklink. I really would like 1.2 bar and about 270+ bhp, is this possible with the PPP and the mods I have?
Am I best having the boost increased on the RR with detcans, or rely on my KL? I only ever use Optimax and want a bit more power but by being safe about it. Is 1.2 bar about the most you want to put through a TD04? I'm guessing atm it's running about 250bhp.
Any pointers appreciated
