i was looking at these earlier! look really good,i'd go for the blue ones in the picture mate!

Why's the bracket bigger than the mud flap?, surely they would be the same size?

The longer bracket is for support, it extends to the kink in the wheel arch for fixing purposes.

Doc is correct, hes probably coppied the original sti ones which are as long as the bracket with a little split for more coverage.
