As above guys has this been done sucessfully, If so any draw backs?

Not for me ***** My son has seen a STI 8 for sale with an LPG conversion apprantly

I used to have LPG on a Ford Explorer , and when I was at the place it was fitted they had a classic that was having it fitted . The guy said it works no problem, the only drawback was it was a wagon and the gas tank took up most of the boot .

Turbo'd petrol cars do not like LPG conversions - can't remember exact science as to why, but don't risk it is my advice!

One thing that supports this is that LPG doesn't contain as many engine-protection additives as petrol, which has led some manufacturers to fit harder valve seats.

The up-side is that LPG has a RON octane of well over 105..........
