Question New owner advice

Hopefully I will have my first Scoob on the weekend it is a late (99) classic. After having read through the forums I am starting to panik a bit, dont do this dont do that!?!

so I have a few questions:

1) Do I put an induction kit on the car or will this damage something, or is it a better bet to put a K+N panel filtter on.
2) Do I need a knock link
3) I dont really want to do a full zourst, but wouldnt mind a back box. I fancie the Magnex 6x4 inch or is it just as good to go to a custom zourst maker (like longlife but not ****e!) to do one for me?

I look forward to some answers

Cheers
Stan

Stick witn a panel filter such as the K&N, Green or a none oiled one like the STi filter.
MY99/00 MAF's can be fragile to induction kits.

On a UK model a knocklink is not essential, just use some decent fuel, eg Optimax and don't get so paranoid or Mr Lewis will get you

Magnex is not a bad exhaust but also checkout a few alternatives from the respected tuners:
