RA Gearbox Fault
I am being offered a 1995 WRX STi RA that has a transmission fault - it is very noisy in 5th gear and periodically pops out. In addition, the VCD control does not seem to work - the car is immaculate and has a few nice extras on it, and i'm being offered it for £4000. Does this seem reasonable, bearing in mind the cost to rectify the problem?

It doesn't sound expensive to me and the gearbox problem may not be too bad. Even very badly damaged ones can get repaired with me at around £850.00. If the problem is small the bill will be small; at API anyway.
