Have been reading quite a bit on scoobies recently, but have never read about this mod (well yet anyway).

Is it not a good idea, can the engines manage it?

Any info would be great please guys.

i had nos on mine handled 25bhp jet and the 50 bhp jet but 75 bhp jet blew the thing up at a cost of about 3k for brand new engine so my advise would be is no dont do it.

 

Same story here.
Friend of mine has NOS also and once he used a 75bhp shot the engine blew shortly after. He's now building a axxis engine and going to put on a 100 or 150 bhp shot on it.
I think the axxis engine can handle it but the OEM not.

What was the dammage with your engine Coolboy?
He blew a piston.

 

im considering it but only a 50 shot maximum for the reason stated above......the standard pistons cant really take any more.

 

The jet sizes count as double on a turbo car...
