I have a 01 wrx bugeye... how would i know if it is an import or uk car ?

im a bit confused, and also a bit worried...........

Rear windscreen wiper on a saloon equals Import (JDM).
Electric folding mirrors equals Import.

Otherwise going to be a UK.

I assume you want to know if the car is a Euro import or not?

 

The service manual will give it away, the uk ones will have the main purchasing dealer in there, plus its in english dutch/belgian etc will be in their originating language.

PS, you could always give your chassis number to a subaru dealer who will be able to tell you straight off if its an import or not

 

i aint got a service manual, but ive got all the service sheets done at halcrofts subaru in staffordshire. thats includin 1 that says "first service" at 950 miles.....

Would this indicate its a uk car?

Unfortunately not, your best seeing your local dealer and giving them the chassis number, they can tell off that if its uk or euro import.
