I have just purchased a Special Edition UK model Subaru Catalunya Turbo made only in 97. There were only 300 ever made.

They are basically the Turbo with a load of extras, i.e. Gold alloys, sports suspension, sport seats.....

Does anyone know why they fitted bloody 15" alloys? The standard one comes with 16".
Has anyone got a Catalunya and changed the alloys?

 

97 model cars came with 15" wheels.

I had one, fitted 16inch Speedlines. Very Nice. You have the small brakes, if you don't feel you will be needing to upgrade to bigger brakes then you can find lots of the Speedline Super Tourismo wheels nice and cheaply. In fact there is a set here :

 

I too had a a Catalunya. it does come with 15 inch wheels as standard (as did all the Turbos at the time).

Only 200 ever made, and very rare to se on the roads these days!

I too had a catalunya until i killed it, they dont have different suspension to the standard cxar, unless modified by Prodrive !

 

I had one too! Number 73/201 (no.13 not issued).
