Dose anyone know when the Free Servicing began?

I got my car in May last year and when I booked her in for her first service and told them it was one of the free ones I was told that "they didn't think the free servicing was running in early May"

 

Yes yous is Free Servicing, went from April - end of June 04 then they extended it until end of Sept04. Mines free servicing 3yrs or 30K (got it in June 04)

I bought my 04 WRX on the 20th May 2004 and it is covered by the free servicing. The dealer actually wrote 'Free Servicing' on the cars purchase receipt.
