I have a MY04 STi and have just noticed a knocking noise at low speed from rear suspension , before I take it to the dealers is there anything obvious I should check?

 

If you do a search you'll find it's a common issue. Mine is due to be fixed at the next service - the dealership says it needs some spacers fitting.

Alternatively, some folks have found it to be a shock absorber fault.
