Default uprated box and diff on a my99

I have received my sti5 box (need to check the serial number).
I am planning to run a P1 rear diff (already sourced)

are these then a straight swap on a my99 uk car?

Andy

About the speedo thing Andy
When i first fitted the Sti box the speedo was over-reading. Not a great deal and as i said above it will keep you on the right side of legal speeds.

When i stripped the box to overhaul it and fit the Quaife diff, i changed the speedo drive gear from the UK box (you have to split the box to get it out) hoping it would bring the speedo back n line, but made no difference even though the number of teeth were different.

shouldnt be a problem Alan, I use road angel for speed readings and unless the sti box changes the GPS timing as well then hopefully I will be ok
