Hello my gearbox has given up so i took it out and it has the wrong code compared to the chassis plate . Can anyone shed some light on whaqt the box came out off?

The code is TY752VB3AA I have looked around on the forum and been on to that web site which has the gearbox codes it seems to be out of an MY93-96 but i dont know what model STI or WRX .. Anyone know?

Also the box im meant to have is TY752VB4AA i have checked the gear raitos and they are exactly the same was wondering if there is any differance at all in them and where can i get a TY752VB4AA box from?

i have taken it all apart and it all seems fine apart form the main bearings having heat marks on them . Is that common?
