Will a dog guard from a 1998 wagon fit a 2001 wagon?

Should do - same width I believe. I'm assuming that the Classic guard fits onto/is supported by the seat back catches, like the new age ones.

He was trying; they had a new 'Blob Eye' WRX 'Wagon in the showroom with a dog guard and a load deck cover fitted. I was interested in the bits and asked if theyd fit 'Classic', he said that the guard would but that the deck protector was different. As it was this that I was really up for I didnt take it any further.
