Default hayward and scott 4 1/2 angled exit... any one tried one ?

hi all,

happy easter..

anyone tried the new'ish backbox from h&s ? featured in scooby mag issue 1 page 8 ? it's a 4 1/2" pipe with angled exit ..

had enough of my firestorm so thought i would have a change..

any input welcome..

Yes, it was noisy and droned a little with my H&S de-cat but with my headers it is alot less 'droney', either that or i have become used to it. Get one.

just got back from hayward and scott

they fitted it so i could hear it and that was that ..... SOLD... to the man with the big GRIN ,...... ME.....

top guys there ... very helpful.

have one fitted on my spec'c' and with all the cats its very quiet on idle but rather noisy (not enough tho) on full chat.....

I have one fitted to my 04 WRX, well pleased with the note it gives and have had a few other scooby owners ask what one I had. And a good price also.

i assume the H&S 41/2" angled exit b/b is different from the Afterburner Vortex they make for Scoobyworld?
Would it be quieter?

Yes it is different, but only slightly. It can be as loud or quiet as you want it.
