Question Help! Car undriveable after clutch change!

Just had my car in garage yesterday to replace the clutch as was starting to grind when changing down at high revs.
Now when changing down I get a terrible judder in every change!
The garage that changed it is stumped as to what it can be!
The whole car shakes when I re-engage the clutch! Changing up seems fine so i tried changing down with 4k revs on at the same time, this seems to stop the judder. Anyone had similar? Did you solve it!? Any help appreicated as car is undriveable!

Well when i picked it up they not sure why it was doing that and thought another part in the drivetrain must of been worn or something!? One of the mechanics was thinking something to do with the connector to the master cylinder was too short but was unsure if that would do it! They are asking around at the mo but are stumped as to what it is! They havent charged me for the work yet and as a friend they give me very good discounts and generally the work is to a high standard!

They pulled the engine out to do it.

could be deposits on the flywheel which are grabby at low rpm but high rpm overcomes the grab.
have you tried a slightly enthusiastic launch yet?
this can sometimes burn off any crap on there.
best get the garage to do it though in case owt goes wrong

Enthusiastic launch not made any difference! Mechanic still thinking it the connection between the master cylinder needs to be longer as it not disengaging properly, i'm not sure though as its when you pull the clutch up to go back into gear.

What did they do with the flywheel?

Take it off and skim it?
Replace it with a new one?
Left the old one as it was?

I had this problem with mine last year as I didnt change/skim the flywheel.

Some dealers insist on fitting a new flywheel with clutch change for this very reason.

Sounds like they cleaned the flywheel poorly to me.

I have had this before and my mate with a Pulsar has exactly the same problem at present as he cleaned his flywheel up with a sanding disc on an angle grinder....idiot!

I cant see it being the connection for the master cylinder.
could poss be poor flywheel condition , bad alignment of clutch, bad alignment of engine to gearbox or damaged or worn spigot bearing??
