Default Strange questions I know...

but didn't know where to put it and wondered if the power of scoobynet could come up trumps (again).

So can anyone tell me please:

a) Roughly what a stainless back box and de-cat centre pipe weighs in Kg's. Trying to find out how much to privately courier stuff form Scotland to Derbyshire.

And

b) Let me have details of a courier firm or firms who will handle private jobs like this, not soley business to business on account.

Thanks in advance.

Max

Wrap it up well, and get down to your local parcel force office
Don't have a clue on the weight, as you don't mention which backbox and pipe, but it shouldn't cost you too much.
you could also try UPS, PARCEL LINE and good old ROYAL MAIL too.
chris.

Ta, I've tried UPS they didn't want to know. I've just found one called same dispatch and the on-line quote is £16.50 given that it's less than 4 cu metre's.

Both are Magnex - 6x4 oval and de-cat centre. I'm buying and wanting to jolly things along.

I've used Securicor/Omega (now DHL I think) loads of times and they've been pretty good each time.

Only send it by Parcel Farce if you want to lose it or break it.

HI Max,
My new back box came up from Essex yesterday and the company that sent it used a company called Ship Ease. It was a tenner on top of the box price. Don't know if they were local to Essex or a national firm.
