Default Toyo a buget tyre.

Right, my dad needs to get some new rubber for his 03 WRX as they are worn. Still the orignal tyres that Subaru fitted - Bridgestone Potenza RE*****

Hes got some quotes for Bridgestone, Pirelli, Goodyear, Michelin etc... and our local garage 'Pan Autos' seems to be the cheapest. So he phones around some other local tyre places for quotes and no one seem to be able to match the price at Pan Autos (Fitting valves etc...). So he askes one of the 'more expensive' garages for Toyo and the man said why do you want toyos, there a buget tyre. If this is true, why do people buy them for scoobys, evos etc...
because the gut could het four tyres for under £400 fitted etc...

Cheers
Darren

Toyos are NOT budget tyres they are excellent and well worth the money. I would choose toyos over most 'expensive' tyres.

I like my Toyo T1R`s but still prefer the Bridgestone re50`s but they are another £40 ish per tyre...
With Scoobies doing 10000-12000 miles a set.. it makes financial sense to use Toyos

I discovered Nokian tyres a few years back, outstripped anything else I could find for my Golf. Every local dealer said, naaah budget tyre. Just because they had never heard of or driven on them. They were only £5 quid cheaper than the useless, in comparison, Michelin Pilot Exaltos I had on before.
