Default How much brake fluid do I need?

Just got a full set of new M1155 pads and Goodridge hoses for my 00MY uk turbo. Replacing the brake fluid too - starting off with DOT4 to see how it fares with the new set-up.

How much fluid will I need? Can't find any mention in the handbook. Also done a search on SN - diddly squat

Cheers

Kev

depends how competent your are in your "bleeding" of the system afterwards........................you'll use at the min. just under 1ltr and poss. 1.5lts??

you could use more?? if you aren't familiar with this or end up with a leak due to poor fitting, etc.??

make sure all of your connections are tight and sealed before you start.................

Cheers Alyn. I'll recruit the help of a mate who's more competent than I am, just to be sure...

I used 1 litre when flushing, refilling and bleeding mine. As Alyn said tho you could have a few problems or leaks etc (i managed without hicups) so 1.5 litres may be the safest bet.
