Make sure your front pads match the rears if you put uprated pads on.
You don't want to end up with the lethal ABS problems that I got when the fronts aren't up to temp (causing the rears to lock under heavy braking and the ABS to go bananas) which can happen everytime you don't touch the brakes for 10-15mins.

If you're trying to uprate and keep the costs down a bit, get discs for about £25 each from Brakes International (pretty good quality aswell), EBC Redstuff Ceramics about £100ish (try Camskill), braided hoses for about £40-50 for a set of 4, and some dot 5.1 fluid up to £10 for a litre of good quality stuff.
This is what I am putting on my Type R next month just in time for my first trackday

no abs on my type r
Lucky git!
But just note that with non-matching different pads on the rear you could lock up the back brakes first when you do an emrgency stop. As they could be the ones that bite better when cold.
