I ber GKN do a replacement /exchange.
Find a good motor factor and ask.
Alternative is a Subaru breakers, ie Grade A.
Obvious (expensive) one is a dealer heaven forbid.

Just a thought.
Give TEGsport a call ( the old Town End Garage) I think
www.tegsport.com as they fit new tough shaftes to their rally cars, so might have some stock shafts on the shelf?
