I am thinking of changing the back box on MY04 STi but want something that looks similar to the original (not a huge tailpipe or very noisy) and nicely finished stainless.

Any suggestions , how easy to fit , is the PPP back box any good?
Also insurance want another £85.00 for a modification ,robbing gits!
Budget about £300 inc VAT

PS I can't get better than 20MPG is this normal?

Got to say that the ninja box from scoobyworld its a must! Lovely to the eyes...sounds somewhat deep and when u step on the gas, it sounds like an f16 taking off with afterburner on.. WOOOOSSHHHHHHHHHH.

By this i mean that the box is not loud....just a liddle deep and u really hear the boxter making pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop.

I can vouch for the H&S (MY04 STI). Just had mine fitted on thursday (full decat), sound is awesome. Back box is quality item (as is the rest of the system) with slightly smaller diameter tailpipe than the standard STI one.

 

TSL group N with the twin 65mm pipes is the closest to the OE look, personally I found mine just tooooo loud and droaning so switched to a Prodrive PPP box which is perfect for me.
