Default PLEASE HELP!!

I have just been to collect my Uk97Turbo2000 from a specialist again today.

This time i had a standard exhaust system fitted with a brand new Lambda and the car is still misfiring.
The mechanic is at a dead end with it now as everything he has tried has'nt really solved the problem.I had brand new plugs fitted last week, with no real improvement.
I can either take it to Subaru for a diagnostics check or the mechanic said he will have it for another day and swap parts around till he finds the problem.
He reckons it may be the coilover but hes not sure as they're not usualy an issue.Or it could have something to do with the dumpvalve.

Could anyone please enlighten me on what the problem could be?

Coil*pack* is most likely if they have changed the plugs. Or boost hose fell off?

Just an idea....
Are you able to connect the plugs under the dash to let the ecu do a test to see if it can find a fault, if there is one it will pulse out the code to you!?
Don't know if you can, but thats what i do on my own - MY93wrx.

There are 2 x black connecters that will fit together which will give the code once you turn the ignition to on.dont start the engine!

Other than that.... take the dump valve off sometimes they can cause similar probs, boost solenoid - should make a loud ticking/clicking noise if it is working properley afaik.

Are the plugs gapped correctly and daft question - they are good enough/correct type arent they!?

Dealer can use the select monitor which is much easier. If the muppets know how to use it - which monst don't seem to ECU check as above is worth a go though.

Doubt very much if its the DV, unless it has a big leak.

Do a search on coil packs.... Still my bet.

The bloke who had the car did an ECU check and the Lambda code came up but hes fitted a new one now.

Also the plugs are the right ones and all the hoses have been checked.

Is the coilover a big job? How much am i looking at if it is the problem?

'Coilover' is a type of suspension setup. (Coil = spring). A Coil pack, which sounds likely to be the cause of the misfire, is what your ignition leads connect to. Coil pack is a quick and easy job.
