I have a greddy Temp gauge which was used for coolant monitoring & now want to monitor oil temp instead (commander unit monitors / displays coolant temp)
Has anybody fitted the below & have any views / experience etc

Why not fit the oil gallery adaptor plug available from Le Mans Motorsport http://www.lemansmotorsport.co.uk/mo...ing_parts.html part number LMA067 ADAPTOR M18*1.5 to 1/8NPT instead?

Costs all of £3.70 and doesn't affect the oil fiter change. Also it measures the oil temp at cylinder no. 3 (assuming you put the sensor there!)

I take it that it is a bugger to get off because when you unscrew the filter, It unscrews the adaptor boss ??? Hmm, did wonder about this when fitting!!!
