Just picked her up tonight after swapping the standard 16's for the 18's off my MY02. Now there rubbing! They werent on the MY02, so is there a difference in offset or should I just stick with a set of 17's??????

Any advice?

What size tyres, you should be looking at 215/35/18 on a classic.

Think you will find the offset is different, 18s will be fine on a classic with 215/35, the offset if I remember correctly should be 50

18's should fit, check the offset usually get away with a minimum of ET45, probably cos its lowered to why its rubbing.

I think MY02's have 40 section tyres i.e 225/40 x 18 which may be why they are rubbing. On a Classic they need to be 215/35 x 18 with an offset between ET48 and ET53.
