You should be able to get a new rad no probs, i had 1 go on my 98 classic,
my local garage changed it the following day for me. cheap to, try your local garage.
As for a quick fix i wouldn't bother these rad weld chemicals only cause more probs,
Best of luck.If you have no joy i'll ask my garage where he got mine from.
Only prob is i'm in Swansea.

scoobyimp, the rad weld might have a tendancy to block the gallerys in the radiator and the heater matrix. Also the pipe runs from the header tank are on the small side these may well clog up in time. Change your rad sooner rather than later imho.

Had a rad go on me a couple of years ago and sourced one from Dial 4 parts Brand new £160 inc P & P. The rad is manufactured from a company called Nissens not to be confused with Nissan cars. Well made rad identical to the origanal in every way.
