getting 1000mile service tommorow at 8.30 at cheam motors.looking forward to giving it a proper blast from now on,no more looking at the silly little red light and listening to that annoying buzzer

Luck you ! I have 700 miles on the clock, with only 300 to go - cant wait !!

Enjoy it, although you may want to still take it a little easy for a while past the 1000 miles, ie I wont be getting it serviced then taking it to the limiter at 7.2k revs straight after.

 

It's a liberating experience I'm on about 1700 miles now and have the red light set at 5500rpm - I'll probably set it to a more 'interesting' level at about 2500 miles.

 

Its a long time coming, but a real giggle on the way home from the garage.......I hope the ppp fitment to my precious next week has the same effect.........
