I ordered a carbon bonnet that arrived yesterday, but unfortunatly when i unwraped it i noticed the lacquer was peeling around one of the vents, the company i bought it off have been great and said i could return it and get a refund as they are out of stock so cant replace it, it is supposed to be a christmas present, so i didnt want to wait.
The peel is only very small, but im wondering if it will spread if it gets wet or when going over bumps etc. ive thought about keeping it and sealing it with clear nail varnish or something similar, or should i just send it back?
any comments or further thoughts would be much appreciated, thanks
