Had the boot open with the engine running and i could hear not so much a rattle but a very fast clicking noise.
I removed the panel that covers the jack ( rear left of boot ) and it is clear that the noise is coming from in there somewhere.
Its nothing to do with the jack rattling as it still does it when i removed the jack.

Any ideas what it could be ?
My thought is a wire or wire connector rattling against something but im not sure.

Also, i noticed in the middle of the boot, where the boot light is, by the boot hinges, there is a connector, like it can be plugged into something.
Any ideas ?

 

Was the car hot? if so it could of been the heat shields / exhaust cooling as thy make a ticking noise.
