rear diff for uk 6 speed

Question rear diff for uk 6 speed

hi all what is the best diff to match up with uk 6 speed box when fitted to my 93 wrx? the car should have about 400 bhp and 400 ibft when it is finnished.

if you have a uk 6 speed you need a uk rear diff from a classic (alot less hassle than from a new age) and it must be 3.545:1, which all UK rear diffs are unless they have been molested.

Standard one should cope.

I have one if you cant find one.

or change the dropgear to 1.0:1 instead of the 1.1:1 it has now

If you have the standard WRX rear diff it should be a 4.11, you need a 3.54 to go with the UK 6 spd box as mentioned above. I also have a spare 3.54 (with LSD) if you need one.

what diference does a lsd do really? does my wrx have a lsd?

to Use a JDM 6mt with the oem diff you must change the dropgear
JDM diff is 3.9 and the uk oem diff is 3.53. That's what i ment when you want to use a JDM 6mt with the UK reardiff.
