I am amazed how much weight the Impreza has put on over the years. I had a MY99 Type-R that weighed 1260kgs. I am now looking to get a MY03 STI PPP and was shocked at the weight in the region of 1485kgs. I am selling my Nissan 350Z because its a heavy car at 1545kgs with GT pack. These cars are far to heavy!!!! Does anybody know the 0-60 time of the MY03 STI PPP, is it sub 5 secs??? Is the MY02 STI PPP Bugeye any quicker as I believe its around 110kgs lighter??

standard is marketed as 5.9sec so i imagine the ppp will be around 5??

 

The standard STi is 5.2. The PPP brings it down to 4.9 i think.

I think you'll find the '02 and '03 STIs are very simlar weight - there's no substantial difference between them.

If you want to save a bit of weight, get a Spec C
