Default Quieter exhaust?

I currently have a Scoobysport (H&S type) full exhaust which I love, but I'm about to start shift work so my neighbours may start to get a little annoyed

Are there any good, full systems out there that don't hurt power but are quiet? Or is there a quieter backbox I could use (I still have the original OEM backbox, but I'm guessing it would knock the power off a bit)?

I have a 3" Revolution dp and full system (decat). It is pretty quiet but retains the scooby burble. It is perfect for motorway cruising as it is barely audible from in the cabin.

Would agree with The other Phil.

Revolution is an excellent exhaust without upsetting the neighbours

Speak to H&S as I think they can make you a removable bung to go in the exhaust for those times you need to be quieter.

Dave.

Having had both an H&S exhaust and the revolution, I would sell the H&S unit and go with the Revolution. The revolution manages to have a full 3" bore and be quieter than a "quiet" 2.5" H&S backbox and standard centre section.

Yet another for the Revolution system.
Full 3" decat with the nice burble and good price.

Anyone got the Revolution downpipe - does it seperate ( for a short distance ) exhaust and wastegate gasses, or can it come with a spliter? Or just one large hole?

Looking for a quieter than (old) Scoobysport/H&S system but want benefits of splitter, and also been told for good torque and power should go for a full 3" through system!

Ta

Neil

PS What do SS/H&S systems go for these days - d/p with splitter, centre, rear box, 2 years old ??

I had a resonator welded into my Revolution 3" system in the centre section - it comes without - good improvement. AlanG had about 3 of them put in and sounds pleased with the results.

john, was that to help with interior noise? I'm quite happy with the interior volume of the Scoobysport, it's more the noise while it's idling and and driving slowly out of my road at 5am that I'm worried about.

Both interior and exterior, don't like feeling like a boy racer tit when I'm booting it, hence why I would like an E55(K) AMG

LOL, I'm starting to feel the same way, turning 30 has done something to me

Where would I go to get a resonator put in? I guess any exhaust fabricator could do it, but could getting a monkey to do it end up restricting the exhaust?

I went off local recommendation and looked at the resonator they were planning first. Works superbly.
