Default Recall

Got a call from my local dealer about a recall on my 02 STI PPP.

Something about rocker cover bolts but I can not seem to find any information about this anywhere.

Anybody else had the recall and can shed some light on the subject ?

it's the bolts on the side of the control solenoid for the vvt. the gasket can become warped due to the heat they reckon so all dealers are being issued with the bullitin and special tools to redo them

I was also told the same thing last week A non urgent ten minute job, to check the Torque if a couple of bolts on a rocker cover seal as some have had a small oil leak.

Yep thats what they told me. I asked if it was anything I could check to save me a 20 mile trip but I was told no as a special tool was needed. Anyway booked in for saturday. Lets hope it is just a ten minute job.
