Diameter of gear stick

Does anyone know the diameter of the a MY99 gear stick?

Not very technical i know

Would a gear **** that accepts up to 16mm fit?

Most replacement gearknobs are manufactured to fit almost any car...a max dia of 16mm will be fine unless your standard gear stick has been replaced with a tree trunk.
