Default Knocklink first green LED on constantly but faded?

Hi, just fitted a new Knocklink sensor, but the first green LED is on constantly when the ignition is on. It is not on full brightness, seems to be faded. It is the same with the engine turned off and on. Just wondering if this is normal or if there is something wrong with it.

Cheers

Pete

This is normal it just indicates it has power.

If you get any knock it will light up fully.

I thought and was hoping it would be that. Cheers for setting my mind to rest.

Get Knock and everything Lights up mate.

First and a bit of second green light is fine.

Use the washers or intercooler spray and you should get the second green light on.. Means its working great

Got it set to maximum sensitivity. Gave it a hard rev up on the driveway and 3/4 led's lit up, i did'nt do it again as i did not like that. Took the car for a drive and gave it some normal overtaking/accelerating abuse and nothing lit up so everythin seems okay.
