smells like my clutch is burning also found it harder to get into second gear but no real judder
any ideas?????looks like another visit to the dealers
Andy
1st idea is stay well clear of the dealers
2nd is to ascertain whether or not your clutch is really Donald*.
a quick search on here for APIDavid will get you a number for APIimpreza/engines.
call David and talk it through with him.
he tells the truth and is considerably better/cheaper than dealers in matters such as these!

Lagamorph my clutch has just started to slip howver after reading my log book it clearly states that clutch in no way will be covered under warrenty.
Rang up Subaru in Peterborough to describe then problem and wait for it ......you sitting down????
They said I would also need a new flywheel aswell as clutch standard procedure they said and the price £1200
Booked in at Scoobyclinic for £375 for replacement clutch which is actually an uprated one to the standard scooby one.
Did I mention that my local Subara Dealership wanted to charge me just to look at the problem, my car too is still under warrenty.
Good Luck
