'93 wrx ecu swap?

Does anyone know if a sti2 ecu will run on a '93 wrx ok?

I've been offered one and told that it will work!

also are they 280bhp?

yes it will work but make sure you run the car on optimax and an octane booster ALL the time.

the sti v2 is 275ps

new ecu will have a higher rev limit if you take it up that high on the wrx engine you will melt the pistons or lose the valves etc..
