I take it you mean the ignition timing?

yes, of course it does.

What do you actually want to know?

I have a misfire, I only notice at idle, its not constant, and not confined to 1 cylinder. I was wondering if my timing was out to cause it.

very unlikely, when you say misfire do you mean lumpy running?

if so could be maf and/or lambda or plug lead dislodged

The best way I can describe it is it sounds like the car farts when you stand at the tail pipe. The engine does rock from side to side but that could be a dying engine mount. All the leads to the maf and lambda are on tight.

Its been swapped out but proved not to be that.

I think I've fluffed putting the manifold on. :banghead: I changed it because the old one was cracked and now the new one is blowing badly over 3k rpm.
