My lovely imported MY94 WRX is in need of a replacement back box - the trustworthy garage I purchased the car from had patched up the pipe leading into the silencer with welding & this is now all shot.

The exhaust system on the car is currently all original with "Subaru" and part no. "MMFA3" embossed on the silencer above the twin pipes. I'm wanting to know if any second hand standard twin pipe Impreza turbo back box - whether UK / imported / different model year - will be compatible with the middle section already on the car, or if angles / join distances / etc will be different.

Would love to be fitting the car with a complete new system but £££'s dictate for now.

Hi Marcus. any of the classic exhaust parts will fit. uk middle pipes have a cat in them so should be avoided. Plenty of s/hand stainless back boxes for sale on s.net.
