I am about to look at a 1999 Impreza Turbo (Classic) and would like to know where the vin numbers are apart from :

The Vin Plate
The Bulkhead

Is it located anywhere else on the vehicle aswell?

Thought the VIN number was the number plate, might have that confused with something else.

 

I dont know of any other place it will be mate but on some jap cars especially Toyota cars they also have the Vin number below the lock mechanism i believe called the door frame lol. So not the door but the area where the door shuts, theres generally a plate similar to the one on the engine bay but smaller.

I mean i dont have one on my door frame but u can always have a look
