Default Newbie to the Scooby World

Hi all,

I am new to the world of jap cars as I have previously owned ford cars (rsturbos) but am now looking to get my self a nice scooby (looking at a STi's at the moment). The problem I am having is that there are so many models (UK and Jap spec, I also know during one year they had a complete overhaul of the cars and increased the power and interior to a higher spec) out there and I am not sure of all the specs. eg Bhp, torque, suspension etc.

So was wondering if any one has any really good links and advice to point me in the right direction so I know I am making the right decision when buying/looking for a scooby.

thanks

Tom

1980, would make you 24, nearly 25. if you want to remain fairly solvent then i would recommend a uk wrx. don't even think japanese model unless you are fairly well off as the insurance can be horrendous for younger people.
