Will a full nur spec r system fit onto jan speeds scoobysport 3" downpipe. Cuz i have got a feeling a nur spec r is 3" all the way but norrows to go onto a standard downpipe (2.5"), is there anyway round this or should it go straight on. If there isn't what other ways are there to go

 

You are right about the blitz tapering to 2.5 inches to fit the original down pipe. Your only option is to get an aftermarket decat downpipe with 2.5 inch bore. Scoobyworld??? Size of downpipe doesnt really matter until you start going for big power. 350-400bhp+

 

Thats the problem chap, I am looking for over 400BHP, and so this issue is pritty import. Not sure what other options I have got other than to get a 3" scoobysport centre section and try and get a loud backbox that will bot on. But I want the same noise as the blitz if I can or something that is as loud as
possible any ideas

 

What about an aps 3.5inch bore system from gforce motorsport. Bout 1k I believe and a big tailpipe. Go for it , its only money!!!

my nur spec R is 3" all the way through, mated to a 3" H+S downpipe with splitter mod.

Nur spec didnt taper to 2.5" at all!

 

How do i do this? I have a brand new blitz system waiting to fit to my 04 sti but want a true 3" connection to a 3" downpipe.

Anyone able to shed some light. Ive been searching the forum for ages...

My old nurspec tapered to 2.5 as well. I went for rcm as I wanted a full 3" system but no where near as loud as nurspec!!!
Sure it would be easy enough to fabricate to 3"

 

I heard the RCM is louder than the blitz but i think thats the Team Ice back box/pipe and i know the blitz is super loud with decat so didnt want to risk team ice

Im hoping someone on here as had theres modified and can point me in the right direction...

 

Mines the same as the team ice but with a silencer instead of a piece of pipe with a exhaust tip welded on! Lol.

I've also got the resonated centre section and it sounds great on my twinscroll👍

 

Hayward and Scott can modify the blitz to a true 3" system for Ā£80! Will be getting this sorted this Saturday

 

I've got an NUR blackbox mated to a 3" RCM resonated centre which goes to a 3" RCM sports cat...no tapers anywhere

Would you like to get ur blitz done this Saturday by anychance? Could give them a call and see if he reduces the price for doing 2? Worth a try. Which 3" downpipe will U be using ?

 

I haven't got the nurspec anymore as went rcm maybe the op will be up for it!!!
