Question MY99 Dump Value question

Looking for a dump value to accompany MY99 When i get it (hopefully 1 week). I have been told numerous time to go for the Baliey DumpValue. DV10.

I have found some cheapish places round net but must offer only the standard metal colour. However http://www.msport.co.uk/acatalog/bai...cessories.html have for colours, Silver, Blue, Red and Black. However they are £144 £30-£40 more than other sites.

Is it worth getting a Red one and paying the extra to match my scooby.

Or if anyone can point to a cheaper site that would be cool.

And lastly is it as easy as they make out to fit these babies?

Thanks.

Paul.

Peice of cake to fit. I put mine on one lunch time still wearing my shirt and tie from work, took 20 mins max.
As for the colour, is it really worth spending and extra £30, go for silver, then if you ever wanna sell it, it will match everyones car.

The Bailey was the one I fitted, but after 3 months I got fed up with the noise and took it off. Its funny to have a DV when your nipping along with a mate, but when you get your parents in the car its a tad embarassing I reckon.

Depends on what you define as best. HKS SSQV is one the most well made (in my opinion) and has interchangeable fins and a re-circ is avail. No idle probs etc.

Default bailey dump valve

Really easy to fit mate, had it on my my/oo about a year without any problems.Noisy enough to be noticed but not that noisy that its annoying(in my opinion).Heard a few bad reports about forge ones not bein that reliable, would have liked the blitz but funds didnt run to it,u know how it is! Cant go wrong with the bailey in my opinion. Got mine from demon tweeks.

Sounded fine, just gets on your nerves every time you change gear after awhile. I guess in the ideal world you'd like to be able to turn them off, just like a radio.
I also find that without a dump vavle, the car feels a lot smoother when coming of the throttle, tends to coast better as opposed to just dumping pressure with a bit of a jerk. (i'm sure someone will give a more technical reason)
